Skin Care Favorites Part 1
It’s Monday Again!!
And today I have a list of my favorite skin care products. I usually go back and forth between them, because there are more than one in each category. Let’s get started!
These are my top three favorite cleansers:
GlamGlow's Thirsty Cleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser. It’s a mud that turns into a foam. It’s awesome you can actually feel how clean you face is you don’t just feel it.
Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash or what I call it Frosty face wash 🙃. I first started using this when I bought a holiday bundle and I fell in love with it. When I finished it I bought the regular size one. When I started using it I was trying to find something to control my psoriasis, especially around my cheeks area. After a week and a half I saw improvement and whenever the psoriasis is coming back I start to use it again and thanks to it my skin is psoriasis free.
And last but not least Tarte Cosmetics’ Deep Dive Cleansing Gel. This is what I’m using right now. This is one of the most refreshing cleansers I have ever used. I love it, it doesn't over dry. It's just right.
These are my favorite scrubs:
Deep Clean Long Las Shine Control Daily Scrub I use this a lot in the summer when my face produces more oil than I would like. After the first wash, you can see less oil and I love it.
Coconut Milk Daily Facial Scrub with Walnuts and Sugar I love this scrub, it's also a daily scrub. I love things that smell good (who doesn't) and like well, coconuts (duh). Sometimes it makes me want to eat it. I love how when you are massaging it into your face you can feel the beats resolving.
Dr. Brandt Microdermabraion one word psoriasis. When I started using this my psoriasis was at it's worst. After using it for a few months my psoriasis was gone. When I first got this it was a sample so sadly a ran out. I just recently bought the actual size one and started using it again.
I decided to make it a two part post because it was getting too long.
What are your favorite cleansers and scrubs?

6 Ways to Minimize your Pores
Happy Monday Dolls!!
Today's post (as it says above) is how to minimize your pores. These are things I do and products I use.
My pores are not that visible, but I discovered that if I don't do at least once a week they get a mind of their own and it is not pretty. So here are the things I do to keep my pores at bay.
2. Astringent
I use Clear Pore Oil-Eliminating Astringent by Neutrogena. Like it's called it soaks up all the extra oil you may have and not need. Which for me it's a lot. I always use this right before my weekly routine which starts with the astringent, then the steam bath with the soap, and then I end it with a mask. I'll get into that late.
3. Mask
This is one of my favorites things to do on my days off. When I put on a mask I feel like I'm in a spa so I sit back, put the timer on my phone and relax. Then I do a hydrating mask and relax again and then I'm done. The last couple of weeks I've been using Deep Pore Detox Activated Charcoal Exfoliating Mask by Clarisea. I'm in love with this mask. It comes in a powder that you can make into a mask or a cleansing clay.
4. Primers
I think you know which primer I'm referring to Porefessional by Benefit Cosmetics. I have a few others that I have not tried so I'm not even going to mention them but if they work trust me you will hear me talking about them. Back to the Porefessional, I only use this when I'm going out of my house. Usually, on my days off I don't go out but if I do and I don't want to wear make-up I use the porefessional.
5. Cleansers
Another one of my favorite cleansers for pores and blackheads is City Block Purifying Charcoal Cleansing Gel by Clinique. I love gel based cleansers and moisturizers love them. I use this one for a week every month. It says it can be used daily, but when I did my face started peeling, so I started using it for a whole week every month and I love it. It's very refreshing.
6. Exfoliators
My favorite exfoliator, you will hear this a lot, is Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion. I use this twice a week unless my psoriasis is acting out if it does I use it daily until it goes away. It's kind of expensive but it's worth the investment trust me.
Well, there you have it. If you have a problem with your pores it's at least worth the try right?
Do you have a way to control your pores? I want to hear it. Leave a comment and let me know how you control your pores.
Now get out there and kick this weeks butt!

My pores are not that visible, but I discovered that if I don't do at least once a week they get a mind of their own and it is not pretty. So here are the things I do to keep my pores at bay.
1. Steam Bath
The steam opens the pores which give you the perfect chance to clean them. I use 02 Sparkling Blackhead Soap by Caolion, as a well a soap. It has the black, which is for blackheads and to exfoliate. The pink is sebum control and the green hydrates and soothes. Love love this.2. Astringent

What’s in My Make-up Bag?
Welcome doll!
I hope your day is going well. Today I will let you in my make up bag. These are the things I always keep in there.
Nail File: You never know when you’re going to break a nail and need a nail filer.Tweezers: This are for more than just eyebrows.
Lash sensational: I love this mascara. It’s my go to.
Ciate Liquid eyeliner: I love that it’s like a marker. It’s a great way to go from day to night. I usually don’t use eyeliner during the day and even if you do you can make it bolder and bam you’re ready for a night out.
Lue: I love this spot treatment for unexpected pimples.
Baby lips: I cannot leave my house without this for obvious reasons.
NYX Butter Gloss: A little secret, I actually thought that it was actually made with butter 🙈 Anyways I don’t usually wear lip gloss but the I do this is it. I love how cheap they are.
Hand Lotion: Can’t have dry hand right? This is the one I’m using right now. I gotta it on one of my Ipsy bags and I love it.
Again these are the products I keep in my make-up bag at all times. I add other things like, the highlighter, lipstick, and nail polish I’m using at the time.

April Favorites
1. Lash Sensational: I usually use this one with Cover girl’s Great lash. Because alone it leaves a LOT of lumps but with Great Lash (at least for me) it works wonders. And this one is waterproof.
2. Lip Revival: This thing is awesome! I use it once a week and it leaves my lips like a baby's butt. Which is kind of disgusting when you compare lips with a baby’s butt LOL.
3. Baby Lips: This is what keeps my lips alive! I have used other lip balms but nothing works as baby lips. PS. This is the one thing I cannot leave my house without, I can forget my keys and my phone (and I have) but I cannot forget this.
4. Lue: This is step 3 of a well 3 step treatment for acne. While I don't have acne, this works wonders when I feel a pimple coming.
5. Hangover Primer: I have been using this primer a lot. I bought what they call a "deluxe sample" (slightly bigger than a regular sample) and I loved it so I went and bought the regular size one. I love that is so light weight and with my oily skin, I have to be careful about what I put on it.
6. Naked smokey: I have been in love with this palette for some time now. I basically use it every day.
7. Illuminating Face Highlighter: I am in love with this highlighter! It's so pretty. I use it every day and when I have to dress up too. I don't know if the color it's just good on my skin or what it is I just love it.
8. GinZing: I love the smell. Plus it's been so good to my skin. Again I have oily skin and I love the way my skin feels after.
9. Dandruff and Dry Scalp Elixir: This elixir is for psoriasis, which I have. I use it every time after I wash my hair and it works amazing. Unfortunately, I just found out that apparently, they are not selling it anymore. ðŸ˜
10: Fresh Mango Moisturizing Sunscreen: Again love, love, love the smell. If you can't tell I like products that smell good. Like the name says it smells like mangos, that's basically the only reason why I use it even when I don't go out.
11. Protect Detangle: Again it smells amazing. I can't really describe the smell but trust me it's amazing. I have very frizzy Puerto Rican hair. With the weather getting hot, I have been letting my natural mess that I call hair out more. This is also my secret to keep my frizzy in check.
12. The rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel: This is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I love the fact that its gel. It's so refreshing for your skin. If you haven't tried it, what are you waiting for?
13. Eyetini: I have been obsessed with this color for months. I can't get enough of it.
14. Meet Matt(e) Trimony: Same thing just with shimmer.
15. Ipsy Bag of the Month: This is the bag I was using all April is my quick fix when I don't want to take my purse. I just put my ID and credit cards in it and I'm good to go.
Well, this is it. My April favorites. Now it's May and we are one month closer to Summer!!
